OISCA International's delegation, led by Etsuko Nakano, visits Ridge Valley School in New Delhi for the installation of Rotary Interact Club. The event highlighted collaboration between OISCA, Rotary, BNI, and other organizations, promoting leadership, humanitarian service, and environmental initiatives like waste recycling and plastic reduction.
New Delhi : The event witnessed five major organisations under one umbrella for the same cause to nurture young children to become great future inhabitants of the mother earth with excellent leadership qualities. Oisca International HQ team, led by Etsuko Nakano, Rotary District 3011 District Governor Dr Mahesh Trikha, Business Voices future leaders program representatives from BNI Gurgaon & Faridabad region Mr Piyush Praksh & Mr Pavan Inderjit Singh & GTTCI President Dr Gaurav Gupta & Oisca North India Chapter led by Ritu Prasad & Dr Meenu Kumar all joined hands to convey the message service before self.
Ridge Valley school Rotary Interact club installment ceremony under the mentorship of sponsoring club -The Rotary e club of Progressive Thinkers officially was done on 21st November 2024, at a grand ceremony held at DLF QEC Innovative School, Ridge Valley. The event marked a significant milestone in promoting humanitarian service, ethical standards, and global goodwill. Distinguished dignitaries from the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual, and Cultural Advancement (OISCA), Rotary International, Business Networking International (BNI Foundation), Muskaan Foundation, and Global Trade and Technology Council India (GTTCI) graced the occasion, celebrating the spirit of service and collaboration.
The ceremony was attended by esteemed OISCA International delegates, including Ms. Etsuko Nakano, President of OISCA International; Mr. Nagayashi Yasuaki, Vice President of OISCA International; and Mr. Kitsuki Fumio, Secretary of OISCA International accompanied by Mr. Alok Sinha, President National Council of OISCA and ALAR in India. Distinguished guests also included Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President (GTTCI); Mr. Piyush and Mr. Pawan Inderjit Singh (BNI); Ms. Shanti Aulck. Chairperson, (Muskaan Foundation); Dr. Pushpa Sethi, a distinguished rotary District Chairperson and Mr. Ish Anand (Rotary India) and Mr. Kumar Rakesh -an eminent journalist - Editorial Chairman, Global Governance News Group/Samagra Bharat Media Group, India. Straddling three arms of a golden triangle, Rotarian Dr. Meenu Kumar, owner cosmo arts india gallery- an art gallerist and social worker by profession has been the bridge between Ridge Valley School and these prestigious organisations. She is the Vice President of OISCA International (North India Chapter), President of Rotary E-Club of Progressive Thinkers (District 3011) and Head, CSR activities of BNI Gurgaon and Faridabad.
The school council took the delegates on a tour showcasing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and community-driven initiatives like the Plantation Drive and Plastic Warriors Campaign. A key highlight of the ceremony was Dr. Mahesh Trikha, Rotary District Governor (District 3011) administering the oath to the student president, Rishaan Sehgal, and Rotary committee members.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the school Principal, Ms. Nidhi Tewari, followed by a soulful performance by the school’s choir, that created an inspiring atmosphere. This installation also marked the formal collaboration between OISCA International and Ridge Valley School under the project Children Forest Program, emphasizing waste recycling and the reduction of plastic bag usage.
Additionally, in association with BNI, Ridge Valley School collaborated through the project Business Voices Future Leaders Program. The initiative focuses on equipping students with essential business and networking skills, preparing them to thrive as future leaders. The partnership aims to empower young individuals to make meaningful contributions to society and strive towards a more compassionate and equitable world.
